This page explains how The Wood Burner produces its guides and how we keep them trustworthy.
Independence
Our recommendations are ours. We do not sell placement in buying guides, we do not let brands approve copy, and affiliate commission never decides what we recommend. See our affiliate disclosure.
How we research
We base guides on a mix of hands-on use, manufacturer specifications and manuals, UK retailer listings and the experience shared in owner communities. Before we name a product we check that it is genuinely sold in the UK and that the headline figures are real, not marketing-optimistic.
Accuracy and corrections
Prices, models and stock change constantly, so we avoid quoting prices and we revisit guides as the market moves. If we get something wrong we want to know. Email the detail to hello@thewoodburner.co.uk and we will fix it, usually within a few days.
Safety
Firewood kit involves blades, hydraulics and fire. Our guides describe sensible practice, but they are general guidance, not a substitute for the manual that came with your machine or for professional advice on installation and flues.
